Charming Anglophile seeks Cute Brit or some such thing…. (NYC) 27yr
Me: 27 year old very educated, intelligent, sarcastic, quirky, funny woman who can speak 2.5 languages and has been told she has an exotic, sexy appeal to her. I'm very laid back, like music/live shows, books, travel, and all tht other stuff everyone likes, and while I enjoy fancy things like everyone else, my perfect first date would probably be amazing conversation over a good pint in a quaint, dark pub. I'm about 5'7", caucasian, very curvy, with almond shaped eyes, waist-length dark hair, and have been told I have a great smile. :-) I'm sort of frustrated with the calibre of men I've met as of late, and while I am skeptical of my ability to find a better connection on craigslist, I'm also a spontaneous sort who will try most things more than once, because you never know who else might be bored and perusing the personals right?
I will say right now I have an unwavering fondness for Brits...I find my past relationships with englishmen have been different , in a good way. I like the sarcasm, the sense of humour, and the fact that they've actually heard of the country my parents are from, while most people in America usually blink and stare blankly when I mention it. Some people like blondes or have a preference for certain ethnicities....I have an accent thing, I'll admit it. British, Irish, Aussie, South African.....they're all lovely, particularly accents from the UK. Something about it just makes me swoon, always has since I was a child.
Other preferences, in no particular order: age range of 26-36 (sorry, very stringent on this), and I have a height preference. I'm not terribly short myself, so I really prefer guys around the 6 foot tall mark. I like light eyes, but obviously that's not a requirement :-) please be educated, intelligent, and for the love of god, have a sense of humour and understand sarcasm!
